Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa pemerintah pusat telah menargetkan bahwa kemiskinan ekstrem harus tuntas di tahun 2024, dan tentu upaya Ini membutuhkan sinergi dan kerjasama dari semua pihak untuk mewujudkannya.

Di katakan bahwa saat ini angka kemiskinan di Kabupaten Sumbawa 13,5% atau 64.730 jiwa dan angka kemiskinan ekstrem sebesar 3,2% atau sebesar lebih kurang 15.000 jiwa yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Sumbawa terangnya.

Pemerintah pusat melalui Instruksi Presiden Nomor 4 Tahun 2022 tentang percepatan penghapusan kemiskinan ekstrem telah menugaskan kepada semua daerah untuk menetapkan data sasaran keluarga miskin ekstrem berdasarkan hasil musyawarah Desa/Kelurahan yang dibuktikan dengan berita acara musyawarah Desa/ Kelurahan, serta menyusun program dan kegiatan dalam rangka percepatan penghapusan kemiskinan ekstrem, inilah tujuan dari rakor ini karena tahun 2024 tinggal kita menghitung hari, bagi Kepala Desa yang belum melakukan musdes harus segera karena kita juga diminta data ini harus segera oleh pemerintah pusat. Saat ini sudah banyak program dan kegiatan yang kita laksanakan dalam upaya kita menurunkan angka kemiskinan, setidaknya pada tahun 2023 ini tersebar di 15 OPD, dengan 23 program, 54 kegiatan dan 134 sub kegiatan belum lagi kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Desa, Ormas,NGO, dan swasta.

Semua upaya yang kita lakukan tidak akan bisa berdampak signifikan pada penurunan angka kemiskinan bila setiap program dan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan tidak tepat sasaran, oleh karena itu pada kesempatan ini saya ingin menegaskan kepada kita semua bahwa proses verifikasi dan validasi data sasaran keluarga miskin khususnya miskin ekstrem sangat penting untuk kita selesaikan segera, mengingat waktu penyelesaian target penuntasan kemiskinan ekstrem tinggal setahun lagi, ini membutuhkan kerjasama dan kerja keras kita bila proses verifikasi dan validasi data sudah kita tuntaskan maka kita bisa menentukan strategi percepatan dan sasaran program dan kegiatan dengan lebih presisi.
